AN ACT relating to electric cooperatives.
Amend KRS 279.270 to subject voting procedures to the provisions of KRS 279.070 when members are voting on an agreement to consolidate two or more electric cooperatives; delete the requirement for cooperative to be within a continuous territory.
HB 399 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Allow for a majority of those members voting at each corporation to determine the outcome of the agreement to consolidate.
