AN ACT relating to consumer protection.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 367 to declare unlawful the transmission of unsolicited electronic mail advertising to a person in Kentucky; create a civil cause of action for a person who has received unsolicited electronic mail advertising; grant the Attorney General the authority to enjoin the transmission of unsolicited electronic mail advertising to a person in Kentucky and to collect a civil penalty from the sender of the unsolicited electronic mail advertising.
