AN ACT relating to financial administration.
Amend KRS 41.010 to define terms; amend KRS 41.070 to remove references to paper transactions; amend KRS 41.100 to remove references to paper transactions; amend KRS 41.120 to allow electronic authorization; amend KRS 41.130 and 41.140 to delete some requirements for warrants; amend KRS 41.160 to reference imprest cash provisions; amend KRS 41.165 and 41.167 to allow application for direct deposit to be made to the employing state agency; amend KRS 41.170 to recognize the integrated system of accounts; amend KRS 41.260 and KRS 41.310 to remove references requiring paper transactions; amend KRS 41.350 to designate how long printed warrants must be retained; amend KRS 41.370 to remove references requiring paper transactions; create a new section of KRS Chapter 45 to define "warrant"; amend KRS 45.305 to delete requirement for two separate accounting systems; amend KRS 45.310 to delete references that may require paper transactions; amend KRS 45.454 to conform; amend KRS 45A.655 to allow the imprest cash system to operate within the unified and integrated system of accounts; repeal KRS 41.270.
HB 427 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Retain original language except delete requirement for state agencies to notify Treasurer of all deposits; delete reference to dating and numbering checks; require the Finance and Administration Cabinet, rather than employing agency, to obtain payee's approval of direct deposit.
