AN ACT relating to teachers' salaries.
Amend KRS 157.420, relating to expenditures from the public school fund, to require local school districts to provide a cost of living increase for certified staff that equals or exceeds the percent increase in the consumer price index or the base funding level in the program for Support Education Excellence in Kentucky, whichever is less.
HB 469 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Make technical corrections.
HFA (1, B. Yonts) - Require minimum teacher raises of 3%, the average increase in the Consumer Price Index, or the percent increase in the base amount of the school funding formula, whichever is greater.
SFA (1, G. Williams) - Require that districts provide cost of living raises to classified and certified employees.
