AN ACT relating to the primary program.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 158 to define the primary program; describe the critical attributes for the primary program; require that each school council or school, when no council exists, determine the organization of its ungraded primary program including the extent to which multiage groups are necessary based on the critical attributes and to require that each local school district collect data by school on the number of primary students who take five years to complete the program and publish the data in the annual performance report; amend KRS 156.160 by deleting references to the ungraded primary program and make technical changes; amend KRS 158.030 by deleting the definition of the primary program.
