AN ACT relating to Medicaid fraud and abuse.
     Amend KRS 205.8455 to delete the Recipient Utilization Review Committee and its functions and instead set forth a recipient utilization review process and conditions related thereto; require cases of suspected fraud to be referred to the Office of Inspector General in the Cabinet for Human Resources for preliminary investigation prior to a referral to the Attorney General's Office; require case action related to recoupment, termination, suspension, or restricted states be set forth by the Medicaid Services Department in administrative regulation; amend KRS 205.8467 to delete reference to "due process protections" and replace it with reference to KRS Chapter 13B.
