HB 554 (BR 986) - E. Jordan, H. Anderson, J. Gray, C. Hoffman, J. Jenkins
AN ACT relating to the awarding of public contracts.
Amend KRS 45A.485 to include work performed by subcontractors under state awarded contracts; amend KRS 45A.343 to include work performed by subcontractors under local public agency contract.
HB 554 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Retain original provisions of the bill but downgrade the penalty for failing to reveal certain information to "grounds for" rather than "result in" cancellation of contract.
HFA (1, E. Jordan) - Clarify contractor reporting responsibility for contractor violations and subcontractor reporting responsibility for subcontractor violations.
HFA (2, B. Crall) - Clarify contractor reporting responsibility for contractor violations and subcontractor reporting responsibility for subcontractor violations.
SFA (1, K. Nelson) - Make technical correction.
