AN ACT relating to voting and declaring an emergency.
Amend KRS 118.035 to require that polls be open until the last voter who is waiting in line to vote at 6 p.m. has voted, instead of closing at 7 p.m. regardless of whether all voters in line at 6 p.m. have voted, and to require the precinct election sheriff to perform certain duties to ensure that voters who are in line to vote at 6 p.m. get to vote, but that voters subsequently arriving at the polls do not; EMERGENCY.
