AN ACT relating to hazardous duty retirement.
     Amend KRS 61.592 to provide hazardous duty retirement benefits for jailers, deputy jailers, sheriffs, and deputy sheriffs who otherwise qualify for retirement benefits through the County Employees Retirement System; amend KRS 67.080 to require fiscal courts to appropriate county funds so that these officers may participate in the hazardous duty retirement program; amend KRS 441.225 to require jail budgets to include funds to allow jailers and deputy jailers to participate in this program.
