AN ACT relating to prohibited cosmetology products.
Amend KRS 317A.130 to prohibit the use of any substance in the practice of cosmetology that contains methyl methacrylate.
HB 611 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Prohibit the use of a liquid nail enhancement product containing monomeric methyl methacrylate.
SFA (1, D. Kelly) - Amend to not prohibit the use of name-brand products in continuing education courses.
SFA (2, T. Buford) - Clarify that the use of methacrylate includes all methacrylates and that a product must contain more than 1% of methacrylate in order to be a prohibited substance.
SFA (3, T. Buford) - Amend to state the specific strength of the product to be prohibited.
