AN ACT relating to school attendance.
Amend KRS 159.010 to remove the sixty (60) day withdrawal notice and counseling session; amend KRS 159.150 authorizing local boards of education to adopt policies and sanctions to comply with compulsory attendance laws.
HB 805 - AMENDMENTS
HFA (1/FN, R. Cox) - Require that each local board of education adopt policies in order that students complying with compulsory attendance policies shall have visual access to the preamble of the Kentucky Constitution upon entering their assigned school facility.
