AN ACT relating to juries.
     Amend KRS 29A.160 to permit an employee to be excused from employment, while serving on a jury, if his or her jury duty responsibilities exceed three hour during the day for which an excuse is sought; specifies procedure for excusing shift work employees; specifies when and how an employer shall compensate an employee for jury duty service; require that railroad employees, serving on a jury, receive the same mileage pay they would have receive had they reported to work; and amend KRS 29A.170 to require persons paying jurors for their service to issue to each juror a statement showing daily and total amounts of fees and compensation received.
