SB 114 (BR 936) - E. Rose
AN ACT relating to community foundations.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 65 to define "community foundation" as a charitable nonprofit community foundation established to accept assets, owned, given, or bequeathed to a local government for the purposes of meeting charitable objectives for the citizens of the community; authorize local governments to donate proceeds to a community foundation; specify when the foundation shall return donations to a local government.
SB 114 - AMENDMENTS
SFA (1, E. Rose) - Clarify that the gifts specified in subsection (3) and (4) are from local governments.
HCS - Retain original provisions; clarify that the gifts specified in subsections (3) and (4) are from local governments.
