AN ACT relating to the creation of the Transportation and Tourism Interagency Committee.
Create new sections of KRS 177 to confirm Executive Order 96-951 establishing the Transportation and Tourism Interagency Committee.
SB 123 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Retain original provisions of the bill except change membership to thirteen members, six appointed by the secretary of the Tourism Cabinet, six appointed by the secretary of the Transportation Cabinet and one appointed by the executive director of the Kentucky Heritage Council.
HFA (1/P, J. Gray) - Amend to change "interstate" to "fully controlled access highway;" change "urban area" to "city;" include definition of "logo sign," "partially controlled access highway," and "specific service sign;" provide for a fee structure to be paid to the Department of Transportation upon approval for a supplemental guide sign to either $500 per year for a period of ten years or to the cost of the sign amortized for a period of ten years, whichever is lesser; amend KRS 177.0736 to include interchanges on partially controlled access highways.
HFA (2/Title, J. Gray) - Amend the title to "AN ACT relating to transportation."
