SB 228 (BR 1846) - G. Neal, N. Kafoglis, D. Karem

     AN ACT relating to dentistry.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 313 to allow the Board of Dentistry to form a well being committee to deal with impaired dentists or dental hygienists; protect committee members from liability and keep all the committee's proceedings confidential; amend KRS 313.030 to allow students to work, under supervision, in a licensed private practice facility; prohibit fees to be paid to students performing approved charitable work.

SB 228 - AMENDMENTS


     HCS - Require that records and proceedings of the well being committee which pertain to a licensee who may be, or is, impaired, shall not be considered public records, and shall be subject to court subpoena and discovery in any civil, criminal or administrative proceeding.
