SB 257 (BR 1365) - R. Stivers

     AN ACT relating to teacher salary deductions.
     Amend KRS 161.158, to require the local board to remit deductions from teacher salaries within 21 days following the deduction.

SB 257 - AMENDMENTS


     SCA (1, G. Williams) - Change wording from respective organization to appropriate organizations and associations.
     HCA (1, F. Curd) - Require that deductions be remitted to the appropriate organization or association within 30 days rather than 21 days.
     HFA (1, C. Siler) - Require that local school districts forward any salary deductions to the appropriate organization or association within 30 days following the deduction if the district has received the appropriate invoices or documentation; require that deductions be made from the pay periods during the regular school term rather than during summer months.
     HFA (2, C. Siler) - Require that local school districts forward any salary deductions to the appropriate organization or association within 30 days following the deduction if the district has received the appropriate invoices or documentation.
