AN ACT relating to medical review organizations.
     Amend KRS 311.377 to provide that persons granted staff privileges by health service organizations waive any claim for damages for good faith review by medical review organization; provide that review records, proceedings, and recommendations shall be confidential, privileged, and not subject to discovery in any civil action; extend the confidentiality privilege to include claims such as medical malpractice actions, retrospective review and evaluation, and actions by applicant for or grantee of staff privileges.
