AN ACT relating to the term of office of local government appointees and declaring an emergency.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 65 to extend the term of office of local government appointees whose term will expire in 1998, until January 1, 1999; EMERGENCY
SB 358 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Retain the original provisions of the bill except provide that a term of office of a local government appointee shall become vacant when the term expires; add emergency clause.
SFA (1, R. Roeding) - Provide that bill only applies to appointments to be filled after the effective date of the Act.
SFA (2, R. Roeding) - Apply the provisions of the bill only to city and county officials.
