SB 373/FN (BR 2315) - N. Kafoglis
AN ACT relating to moneys deposited with the circuit clerk.
Amend KRS 30A.200 relating to third party deposits handled by the circuit clerk to include a 5% handling fee to be assessed against the depositor at time of deposit; specify permitted use of the fees collected.
SB 373 - AMENDMENTS
HCS/FN - Provide that the 5% handling fee is applicable only to criminal proceedings rather than all moneys handled by circuit clerk for third party.
HFA (1, M. Bowling) - Add traffic proceedings under KRS Chapters 186 through 189A to the proceedings in which circuit clerks may collect a fee on money paid to third parties.
