AN ACT relating to crimes and punishments.
     Amend KRS 525.010 to define service animals; create new sections of KRS Chapter 525 to prohibit killing, injuring, or harassing service animals; create assault on a service animal in the first degree as a Class D felony and assault on a service animal in the second degree as a Class B misdemeanor; revise defenses; make restitution court order permissive rather than mandatory.
