AN ACT relating to motor vehicle insurance.
Amend KRS 304.39-040 to extend basic reparations benefits coverage to motorcycle operators as a matter of law; amend KRS 304.39-100 to remove motorcycle exclusion from required filing by insurer; amend KRS 304. 39-110 to require security for a motorcycle to include basic reparation benefits.
SB 55 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Amend to require insurers writing liability insurance coverage for motorcycles to make available the option of basic reparation benefits, added reparations benefits, uninsured motorist, and underinsured motorist coverages.
