AN ACT relating to criminal justice matters.
     Establish KRS Chapter 535 and create new sections thereof to create the Comprehensive Crime Restitution and Reimbursement Act, require convicted persons to pay costs of incarceration in local jail; require convicted persons to pay cost of medical treatment in jail; require prisoners in jail to work; provide for liens and garnishment for payment of jail bills, crime impact fees, and victim restitution; provide for imposition of crime impact fee; require Administrative Office of the Courts to provide forms for implementation of act; EFFECTIVE January 1, 1999.
