AN ACT relating to perinatal transmission of human immunodeficiency virus.
Amend KRS 214.160 to require physicians or other persons legally attending a pregnant woman to communicate to the pregnant woman the risks of perinatal HIV transmission and offer diagnostic testing; require the physician or other person legally attending a pregnant woman that is HIV positive to advise the woman about drug treatment and other interventions to prevent the risk of perinatal transmission.
