AN ACT relating to reclamation bonds and declaring an emergency.
     Amend KRS 350.135 to permit the Economic Development Cabinet to assume the assignment as a permittee and to post a reclamation bond on lands for which the original permittee retained liability; restrict the reclaimed lands to only those which have met the requirements for a Phase I release of the reclamation bond; create new section of KRS Chapter 42 to encumber one half of one percent of the local government economic assistance fund for the posting of a reclamation bond; amend KRS 42.455 to specify that moneys in the local government economic assistance fund may be expended for the posting of reclamation bonds.
