SB 311 (BR 2124) - D. Adams, E. Tori

AN ACT relating to the Board of Claims.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 44 to bar claims under one hundred dollars; amend KRS 44.086 to require the Board of Claims to hold hearings on contested claims whose value is one thousand dollars or more; amend KRS 44.140 to allow appeals from board awards where the amount in controversy is one thousand dollars ($1,000) or more.

SFA (1, D. Adams) - Amend to change the threshold for filing a claim from $1,000 to $100 and to increase maximum amount of recovery.
SFA (2, D. Adams) - Change appeals date.
