AN ACT relating to the salaries of fee officers.
Amend KRS 64.535 to ensure that the fiscal court pays the clerk and the sheriff the balance of their monthly salaries in the event of insufficient funds.
HB 1024 - AMENDMENTS
HFA (1, P. Childers) - Amend KRS 64.535 to replace old section (2) with a new section that requires the fiscal court to ensure that the budgets of the sheriff and the clerk contain funds sufficient to pay their salaries and that the salaries are paid in full by December 31 of each year.
