AN ACT relating to the preparation and filing of legal documents.
Create new sections in KRS Chapter 65 to create an advisory committee to establish and implement a uniform indexing system; establish a specific procedure for the preparation and filing of legal documents to be used by all county clerks.
HB 124 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Add Administrative Office of the Courts to the advisory committee, make technical correction relating to President of the Senate.
HFA (1, C. Geveden) - Amend by deleting Section 2 of the bill in its entirety.
HFA (2, C. Geveden) - Insert provision eliminating compensation or expense reimbursement by the Department for Local Government for committee members who are not employees of the Department.
HFA (3, C. Geveden) - Amend to delete requirement that Department of Local Government provide funds for indexing committee.
