AN ACT relating to health insurance coverage of city pension fund retirees and their spouses.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 95 relating to health insurance coverage of city pension fund retirees, their spouse, or surviving spouse to permit participation by said individuals in any available city insurance plan at their option and at their own cost as prescribed.
HB 189 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Retain original provisions of the bill and provide a six month window from the effective date of this act to allow a retiree or surviving spouse to sign up for insurance benefits, exclude cities of the first class from the provisions of the bill.
