HB 392/FN (BR 1514) - J. Wayne, L. Clark, B. Colter, P. Marcotte

     AN ACT relating to the Kentucky lottery.
     Amend KRS 154A.110 to transfer Kentucky lottery unclaimed prize money in excess of six million dollars ($6,000,000) per year to the affordable housing trust fund, rather than making the transfer for the current biennium only; amend KRS 198A.175 to require the Kentucky Housing Corporation to make monthly reports to the Capital Projects and bond Oversight Committee and an annual report to the Legislative Research Commission on the use of unclaimed prize money.

HB 392 - AMENDMENTS


     HCS/FN - Retain original provisions but change monthly reporting to Capital Projects and Bond Oversight Committee to semiannual reporting to Appropriations and Revenue.
     HCA (1, J. Barrows) - Provide that unclaimed lottery prizes in excess of $6,000,000 be transferred to the affordable housing trust fund only for fiscal years 2000-2001, 2001-2002.
     HFA (1, J. Barrows) - Provide that unclaimed lottery prizes in excess of $6,000,000 be transferred to the affordable housing trust fund only for the fiscal years 2000-2001, 2001-2002.
