AN ACT relating to property taxes.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 132 to exempt buses used exclusively for charter or tour services by an owner issued a charter bus certificate from state and local property taxes; amend KRS 132.190, 136.1873, 136.1875, and 136.1877 to conform; apply for property assessed on or after January 1, 2000.

HCA (1, H. Moberly) - Amend to define charter and tour services and to provide that the exemption applies to buses properly titled in a foreign jurisdiction.
HFA (1, J. Haydon) - Apply exemption to buses properly titled in a foreign jurisdiction, that are subject to apportionment registration; define charter services and tour services.
