AN ACT relating to motor vehicle insurance.
     Create a new section of Subtitle 39 of KRS Chapter 304 to require insurers to reduce rates on all coverages for motor vehicle insurance policies issued or renewed on or after August 1, 2000, to levels that are at least 10 percent less than rates for the same coverage that were in effect on August 1, 1999; require insurers to reduce rates on motor vehicle insurance policies issued on or after August 1, 2000, to persons for the first time to levels which are at least 10 percent less than rates that were in effect on August 1, 1999, for similarly situated risks.
