AN ACT relating to racing personnel.
     Amend KRS 230.230 to permit the chairman and the executive director of the Racing Commission to hire personnel to operate the commission's general office and fix their compensation; amend KRS 230.240 to permit the chairman or the executive director of the commission to take employment action and determine the reasonable compensation of stewards, supervisors of mutuels, veterinarians, inspectors, accountants, security personnel, and other employees for a horse race meeting; require that security officers be vested with full police powers and the immunities and defenses available or hereafter made available to sheriffs, constables, and police officers in any suit brought against them as a result of acts performed in the course of their duties; require that the commission promulgate regulations that restrict the use of drugs
