AN ACT relating to diabetes mellitus.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 214 to allow the Department for Public Health to establish a program for diabetic foot screenings; require the Department for Medicaid Services to assign each recipient with a medical diagnosis of diabetes mellitus to a community site to access monthly inspections of their feet; require the screening program to train and employ public assistance recipients to provide the screenings.
