HB 971 (BR 2626) - H. Anderson

     AN ACT relating to the financing of adult education and literacy.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 142 to require coal burning facilities to pay a tax of $15 per ton on purchases of synthetic fuels; amend KRS 151B.142 to require revenue from the tax to be deposited into the adult education and literacy fund to be used in coal producing counties; allow the amendment of KRS 151B.142 to be codified even if another bill repeals, reenacts, and amends that statute.
