AN ACT proposing to amend Section 172 of the Constitution of Kentucky relating to property tax.
     Propose to amend Section 172 of the Kentucky Constitution to provide that the assessed value of property that qualifies for the homestead exemption under Section 170 of the Constitution shall be equal to the assessed value of the property for the 2001 assessment year or the year in which the property first qualifies for the exemption, whichever is later; submit to voters.
