AN ACT relating to the compensation of coroners and deputy coroners.
     Amend KRS 64.185 to replace the current salary schedule for coroners and deputy coroners with a schedule based upon the population of the county and years of service; require the schedule to remain as determined by the Department of Local Government, regardless of changes in the population estimates of the actual census county that may occur during the term for which the coroner or deputy coroner has been elected or appointed.
