AN ACT relating to the sale of alcoholic beverages.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 242 to promote economic development by allowing a local option election for the limited sale of alcoholic beverages in any precinct containing a 9 or an 18 hole regulation golf course; issuance of a license by the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control for the sale of alcoholic beverages by the drink, upon approval of the proposition.
SB 39 - AMENDMENTS
SCS/LM - Expand the types of licenses that might be issued by the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control upon approval of the proposition; create a new section of KRS Chapter 242 to require a golf course that receives an alcoholic beverage license to comply with the provisions of KRS Chapter 344; retain provisions of the original bill.
HFA (1, J. Vincent) - Retain all other provisions, except remove the option for a local option election for the limited sale of alcoholic beverages for a territory that has discontinued prohibition in accordance with KRS 242.1292.
