SB 94 (BR 1531) - D. Boswell
AN ACT relating to the deaf and hard of hearing.
Amend KRS 163.510 to create a centralized interpreter referral service program for other state agencies; provide the Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing with the authority to promulgate administrative regulations; amend KRS 163.500 to include definitions for persons with a range of hearing loss and a qualified consumer applicant.
SB 94 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Retain original provisions except divide the definitions into two categories: (1) definitions used in both KRS 163.500 to 163.527 and in any administrative regulations promulgated under those statutes, and (2) definitions used in any administrative regulations promulgated under KRS 163.500 to 163.527.
