AN ACT relating to employment.
     Create new sections of KRS Chapters 156 and 164 and amend KRS 160.290, 160.431, 164.013, and 164.360 to permit the Department of Education, local school districts, school district cooperatives, the Council on Postsecondary Education and public universities and community and technical colleges to evaluate a prospective or current employee's consumer credit report for employment in fiduciary positions; require the public educational institutions and agencies to comply with the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act; amend KRS Chapter 367 to permit aggrieved persons to appeal a final decision to the Public Education Employees Board, which has authority to promulgate administrative regulations for the conduct of hearings to determine capricious and arbitrary actions.
