HB 17/FN (BR 69) - J. Draud, H. Moberly, T. Feeley
AN ACT relating to education councils.
Amend KRS 164.001 to define "P-16 council" or "council of partners"; and create a new section of KRS Chapter 164 to specify that the Council on Postsecondary Education administer a matching grant program to enable the establishment of regional P-16 councils and to describe the purposes of the regional councils; require an annual report from each.
HB 17 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Retain all of the original provisions, except eliminate reference to "regional" councils and use the term "local"; add local board of education members to the councils; require annual written reports to the council members and the institutions they represent.
