AN ACT relating to compulsory school attendance.
     Amend KRS 159.010 to change the compulsory school age from 6 to 16 years of age to 6 to 18 years of age and remove the provision that a student may withdraw between the ages of 16 and 18 years of age with parental permission; amend KRS 159.051 to remove the provision that a school district must provide an alternative education program to meet the requirement that a student must be enrolled and succeeding in school to have a valid driver's license; and amend KRS 159.020 to conform.
