AN ACT relating to crimes and punishments.
Amend KRS 17.170 and 17.175 to include all felons in the state's criminal DNA collection and indexing program.
HB 33 - AMENDMENTS
HCS/CI - Retain the original provisions of the bill, except include all violent offenders, instead of all felons, in the state's criminal DNA collection and indexing program; delay the collection of DNA from violent offenders until July 15, 2002, unless funding becomes available prior to July 15, 2002.
HFA (1, B. Yonts) - Retain delayed effective date if sufficient funding is provided by 2002 General Assembly with provision making statute effective later on receipt of sufficient funding by future session of the General Assembly.
