Create the Home Energy Affordability Task Force consisting of 15 members; require the task force study ways to make home energy more affordable to citizens of the Commonwealth; require the task force to make an initial and a final report to the LRC and to interim committees with jurisdiction over home energy assistance by November 15, 2001 and November 15, 2002 respectively.
HCR 34 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Retain original provisions of the resolution; except delete language in Section 1 establishing a Home Energy Task Force and require a study of affordable energy be conducted by the Special Subcommittee on Energy; delete language in Section 4 appointing members to the task force and provide that interested stakeholders give testimony to the subcommittee; make conforming changes by substituting "subcommittee" for "task force".
