AN ACT relating to the consolidation of local governments and declaring an emergency.
Amend KRS 67C.123 to prohibit the transfer of assets with appraised value exceeding $1,000,000 or the issuance of certain debt prior to the consolidation of local governments without the approval of each member of the affected legislative bodies and the signature of each executive authority; EMERGENCY.
SB 152 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Retain original provisions; add language to require that the transfer of assets or issuance of long term debt be approved by a majority of the entire membership of the affected legislative bodies rather than each member of each legislative body.
