SB 157/FN (BR 1311) - E. Tori, C. Borders, A. Kerr, R. Roeding, D. Seum, K. Stine, J. Westwood
AN ACT relating to wrongful death actions.
Amend KRS 411.130 to allow for prosecution of wrongful death action for an unborn child from fertilization onward, without regard to age, health, or condition of dependency; amend KRS 411.135 to conform; create new section of KRS Chapter 411 to exempt physicians and pregnant women from prosecution under certain circumstances.
SB 157 - AMENDMENTS
SFA (1, E. Tori) - Add hospitals to the exemption for physicians who perform lawful abortions.
SFA (2, E. Scorsone) - Delete the provisions of the bill; permit a pregnant woman to recover in a personal injury action for a miscarriage or stillbirth that results from the personal injury.
SFA (3/Title, E. Scorsone) - Make title amendment.
