AN ACT relating to retirement.
     Amend the language in KRS 21.450(3), relating to a judicial or legislative retirement benefit adjustment increase in accordance with the consumer price index, which states, "Any accrual of benefits provided under this or any other applicable statute shall be no less than the benefit adjustment provided for in KRS 21.405(4) from the date of the last establishment of that benefit," by adding a new paragraph providing that "for purposes of this subsection, the 'date of the last establishment of that benefit' shall be August 1, 1998."
