AN ACT relating to the financing of sports arenas in cities of the first class and consolidated local governments.
     Create new sections of KRS Chapters 67C and 83 to permit a consolidated local government and a city of the first class to levy a surcharge of up to 5% on tickets to sporting events in a central business district to assist in the construction and ongoing operations of an arena within the area; and require funds raised from to the surcharge to be maintained in a separate fund and used solely for the stated purposes.
