HB 133/LM (BR 286) - G. Graham

     AN ACT relating to crimes and punishments.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 508 to define certain terms; establish the crime of invasion of privacy for a person who acts as a "Peeping Tom"; establish exceptions for criminal investigations and observation of inmates; establish crime as a Class A misdemeanor.

HB 133 - AMENDMENTS


     HCS/LM - Delete original version of the bill and create a new section of KRS Chapter 531 defining the crime of voyeurism and providing a penalty of a Class B misdemeanor for a violation thereof.

     SCS/LM - Make voyeurism a Class A, rather than a Class B, misdemeanor.

     SFA (1, D. Karem) - Delete new language in subsection (3) and insert new language in lieu thereof to establish that the victim or victims of voyeurism must make a motion for sealing the records, to provide a burden of proof, and to provide a hearing procedure.

     SFA (2, D. Williams) - Amend to include provision amending KRS 520.100 to expand the crime of fleeing or evading police in the second degree to include a pedestrian fleeing a peace officer when the pedestrian creates a substantial risk of physical injury to any person.
