AN ACT relating to prescription drug costs.
     Create new sections of KRS Chapter 211 to define terms; require the commissioner of the Department for Public Health to explore strategies to manage prescription drug costs, including discount drug and rebate programs; authorize the commissioner to contract with a pharmacy benefit manager to procure drug discounts or rebates; establish requirements related to prescription drug discount programs; authorize promulgation of administrative regulations; and require an annual report to the Governor, the Legislative Research Commission, and the Interim Joint Committee on Health and Welfare.
