HB 31/LM (BR 260) - A. Arnold, F. Nesler

     AN ACT relating to elections.
     Amend KRS 118.025 and 118.561 to change primary election date from the first Tuesday after the fourth Monday in May to the first Tuesday after the third Monday in May.

HB 31 - AMENDMENTS


     SFA (1, V. Moore) - Amend to permit registered independent or voters not registered with a political party defined in KRS 118.015(1) to vote in the primary of one party for a slate of candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor; provide that primary candidate shall not be a registered independent or voter not registered with a political party; provide that voting machines shall allow registered independent or voters not registered with a political party to vote in the primary for a slate of candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor.
